Consumer Protection

As Insurance Commissioner, I am committed to consumer protection as job one. I’ve seen first-hand the impressive results that the trained investigators at the Insurance Department are able to achieve for North Dakota’s consumers, and I will continue to work hard to ensure that North Dakotans have the protection and advocacy they deserve.

Being an advocate for people is what my entire professional career has been about—both as a prosecutor and in private practice. I know what it means to stand up for people and for the community because that’s what I’ve done for a decade.
