July 19th Parades in Minot and Drayton
On Saturday, Michelle, Wyatt, Halle and I were at the State Fair in Minot. We had a fantastic time walking with lots of folks in the huge parade and then spent the day meeting people and letting the kids have fun on the rides! Additionally, the Hamm campaign was in the parade in Drayton. A big thank you to the folks who helped pinch-hit for us in Drayton–we really appreciate it!!
July 12 parade in Steele
Everyone had a great time in Steele on Saturday the 12th at the parade. Despite the very windy conditions, the campaign marched on and spread the word to the folks in Steele! A big thank you to all the folks who walked with us! Stick with Hamm!!
July 4th and 5th parades
This weekend was filled with parades all over North Dakota. The campaign was in parades in Mandan, Park River, Dickinson, Jamestown and Medora! A huge thank you to all the folks who walked with us, and for us, in these parades! We had the opportunity to meet lots of people and to spread our positive campaign message–it was a great weekend!!
Jamestown Air Show on June 29th
Michelle, Wyatt, Halle and I were honored to be invited to the Jamestown Air Show on Sunday, June 29th (part of Jamestown’s 125th Anniversary celebration). I was given the opportunity to speak at the ribbon cutting for Rick Hieb Blvd. I spoke about what it was like growing up in Jamestown, and about Hamm’s market (one of Jamestown’s original businesses and a staple in the community for 75 years). We had a great time at the ribbon cutting and at the air show afterwards!
June 21 parades in Washburn and Menoken
Michelle, Wyatt, Halle and I had a great time in Washburn on Saturday! We enjoyed the parade and getting to meet lots of folks afterwards. Meanwhile, North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem and others pinch hit for us at the parade in Menoken on Saturday. A big thank you to all the Menoken parade walkers for their help!!
June 14th parade in Valley City
Michelle, Wyatt, Halle and I had a great time in Valley City on Saturday with the parade and the Rally in the Valley that followed! We had a great time despite the fact that Halle took her first tumble in her Heely’s! She skinned up her right elbow pretty bad, but managed to tough it out! She’s pretty strong for a 7 year old, and she’ll back in the saddle next Saturday in Menoken!!
June 10th North Dakota Primary
With all the June 10th primary votes counted in North Dakota, here are the results in the Insurance Commissioner race: Hamm-45,718; my opponent-37,888.
I am deeply humbled to have received 54.7% of the total vote, and we are going to continue to work extremely hard over the next five months to continue to spread our positive message to all North Dakotans! Thank you!

June 7th Parades in Wahpeton and Milnor
Adam, Michelle, Wyatt and Halle got the parade season off to a fantastic start on Saturday morning in Wahpeton and Saturday evening in Milnor! A huge thank you to all the folks who walked with us in the parades, carried the huge 4 x 8 banner and donated trucks and convertibles. We had a great time meeting people and passing out just a little bit of candy!!
May 27th Fundraiser
State Senator Judy Lee hosted a fundraiser at her home in West Fargo on May 27th. The evening was a great time and everyone enjoyed fabulous food and conversation. Adam and Michelle even had an opportunity to take a ride around West Fargo in a 1911 Buick!
